Answers:

A1: Unless otherwise noted, all of our DVD products are custom-subbed by the distributor (YA Entertainment, unless otherwise noted) and the video used is transferred directly from the original masters owned by the television stations who originally shot and aired them. The few shows not produced directly by YA Entertainment have been viewed and checked for quality by representatives of YA Entertainment and are duly licensed for production and distribution. We do not deal with any knock-offs, pirated transfers, recordable DVD's, or cheaply made gray area products, nor will we ever in the future.

A2: All of our DVD sets are playable in stand-alone Region 1 DVD players. Some are playable in multiple regions, and are labelled as such in the product description. Assuming you have the proper codecs and/or software installed, our DVD's are also playable on computers. Any questions about compatibility, etc. can contact our staff at admin@kdramarama.com . We will do our best to assist you with any playback issues you have.

A3: All of our DVD sets come with complete, accurate English subtitles. (That's kind of the whole point!!). A few DVD sets have subtitles in additional languages. Any additional languages offered are referred to in the Product Details section of that DVD set's product page.

A4: All of our DVD sets are shipped directly from the manufacturer and delivered via UPS Ground. Delivery times vary, so depending on where in the United States you live, your delivery time will normally vary between 4-12 business days.

A5: Currently, we are only servicing the continental United States due to shipping cost restraints. In special circumstances, we may ship outside of the US, but it is not something we normally do. Contact sales if you have a special situation.

A6: First, see Question #1. Do your own research. We believe that you will find the pricing and policies of KDramarama.com to be extremely competitive with any other legitimate sites on the 'net, and far below those of most of the "big box" retailers.

The owners of KDramarama.com have been involved in the Asian Drama scene for over 10 years, and we have seen more than our share of "genuine" products advertised at cheap prices that turned out to be of almost unwatchable quality. We have also seen numerous occasions where we were led to believe that we were buying a "legitimate" retail product and ended up with cheaply made recordable DVD's with a homemade label slapped on. While you may occasionally get lucky buying a cheap set, 9 times out of 10 you'll have subpar audio/video quality and/or subtitles that you'd still need a translator to help you figure out. Always, always triple-check not only who made the show you're interested in, but who the producer and distributor and seller are. We put as much emphasis on the legitimacy and quality of the subtitles as the quality of the videos we offer. Our reputation depends on that.
